"Gold trimmed plates are labor intensive to hand wash. Spode makes it easy with dishwasher safe Christmas dinner wares. It stays in production and therefore one can build a set with additional pieces year to year. 'Enjoy!"

"The Spode Christmas Tree China has been an absolute delight! It's both beautiful and festive. My aunt got me started with a couple of place settings a few years ago and I have been adding to my collection ever since. The dishware is extremely durable -- it seems to be chip resistant and I can even place it in the dishwasher. I would recommend the Spode Christmas Tree china to everyone who loves to entertain during the holidays! I love it!"

"I can't wait for December 1st to unpack my Spode Christmas Tree china. I use it every day until January 6th for my husband and me, for parties, for our annual Christmas family dinner and New Year's Day celebrations. It goes in the dishwasher and requires no special treatment. There are pieces in the collection that can go from refrigerator to oven or be used in the microwave. It adds so much to our Christmas season and I'm glad we started our set ten years ago. The goblets are also a lovely addition on a white or dark green tablecloth with lots of white candles."

It doesn't feel like Christmas until we unpack the Spode

"I started collecting Christmas Tree Spode while visiting London in 1979. I bought a small pair of candlesticks because they were easy to pack. Today, I have service for 24, and many lovely serving pieces. And in all this time, not a piece has ever broken!
Right after Thanksgiving, they come out of their boxes and fill my China Cabinet. My family has given me new serving pieces every year for many years, and I treat myself to a new piece every so often too. It's wonderful that the pattern has remained open stock, and that Spode continues to make such beautiful additions. I have hosted Christmas dinner for my large extended family for over 30 years, and they tease me about "owning" Christmas. I guess owning all that Spode Christmas Tree china makes me seem like Mrs. Santa Claus!"

"Mom started my Spode Christmas Tree collection with my first piece, the tidbit tray, when we got engaged in 1978! We added pieces for my birthdays, our anniversaries, and Christmas gifts.

Three of my mugs have chipped off the green trim around the tops. They've never been used or washed in the dish washer. It sort of just peeled off....
Any suggestions? Can they be replaced by Spode??

"I started collecting this tableware over 30 years ago. I add to my collection every year since new pieces always come out. I use it the entire moth of December every year and it has held up with that kid of use. I love the fact that it goes in the dishwasher and mircowave and may of the serving pieces can also go into the oven."

"I started "building" my set last Christmas, with a cookie jar. I have since received salt & pepper shakers and purchased napkin rings. I love the charm of the pattern, it is an iconic design that can be treasured year after year. Plus, when someone asks what you want for Christmas, you can tell them Spode! It's Spode for Me!

"I began collecting Spode after a trip to the UK 15 years ago. I began with the Blue Italian then started the Christmas Tree pattern. I now have 16 place settings and many many serving pieces of each pattern. My daughter and daughter in law have both called dibbs on them (but I plan to use them for many more years LOL). They are settings that will last for many generations. Christmas begins in our home when we replace our daily use Blue Italian with the Christmas pattern the day after Thanksgiving. This china is durable, beautiful and fits for all occasions. I use many pieces of both patterns as decorative accesories. By adding new pieces as you can your collections are affordable and endless."

"A friend started giving me Spode Christmas China over 30 years ago. I, along with family and friends, have continued to add pieces to my collection. I start using my china exclusively, before Thanksgiving and use it thru January, till my birthday. I store the china in a hutch so I have easy access to it and will use different pieces all year, I love having the beautiful china on display year round. I don't want to put it away in the closet. I love the china so much and don't think it should only be used at the holidays. If I had a daughter Spode Christmas Tree China would be on her table."

"I have been collecting Spode "Christmas Tree" Dinerware for 7 years and just love it. Not a piece has broken or chipped and we use it from Thanksgiving till New Years. The diner plates are sized well. The oven wear is pretty going in and out of the oven looks great on the table. The serving plater fits a 10 pound turkey. All the extras pieces, salt & pepper, butter dish, salad bowl, soup and side dishes, glasses make my Table very Festive."
