"The Spode Christmas Tree China has been an absolute delight! It's both beautiful and festive. My aunt got me started with a couple of place settings a few years ago and I have been adding to my collection ever since. The dishware is extremely durable -- it seems to be chip resistant and I can even place it in the dishwasher. I would recommend the Spode Christmas Tree china to everyone who loves to entertain during the holidays! I love it!"

"I can't wait for December 1st to unpack my Spode Christmas Tree china. I use it every day until January 6th for my husband and me, for parties, for our annual Christmas family dinner and New Year's Day celebrations. It goes in the dishwasher and requires no special treatment. There are pieces in the collection that can go from refrigerator to oven or be used in the microwave. It adds so much to our Christmas season and I'm glad we started our set ten years ago. The goblets are also a lovely addition on a white or dark green tablecloth with lots of white candles."

"I have been collecting Spode "Christmas Tree" Dinerware for 7 years and just love it. Not a piece has broken or chipped and we use it from Thanksgiving till New Years. The diner plates are sized well. The oven wear is pretty going in and out of the oven looks great on the table. The serving plater fits a 10 pound turkey. All the extras pieces, salt & pepper, butter dish, salad bowl, soup and side dishes, glasses make my Table very Festive."

"I have always loved this pattern and have been collecting it for over 20 years.
I will continue to purchase it, however, the quality of the pieces sold now is nothing compared to those sold years ago--the pieces that were manufactured in England.
The plates purchased today, made in various third world countries are heavier, and the painting and details is not as precise. The price is still high, and does not reflect the poor quality.
Purchase if you like the pattern, however, it is no longer "fine" china."

"I just discovered the Spode Christmas Tree dinnerware this year and have fallen in love with it. I was disappointed when my local Macy*s only had one set left (which is what I get for waiting until 12/23 to buy it) that I rushed home to track down a second one on-line. "For some, Christmas means hanging stockings with care, for others, it's mulled cider by the fire...but for me, it's setting my table with my beautiful Spode "Christmas Tree" Dinnerware. I remember going to Macys every year and stopping by the housewares department, dreaming of the day I would finally buy my starter set. I would pick up the dinner plates, running my fingers lovingly around the rim...imaging how my family would share Christmas dinners to come on these sweet plates. You can only imagine how excited I was when I finally received that gorgeous Macy's box from UPS on my December 15th birthday a few years back!! Now the tradition is to add something special every year--this year was the dessert plate! Christmas cookies never looked or tasted quite as good!
Christmas is not a day--its a feeling! Spode has captured it perfectly with this set of dinnerware. I recapture the Christmas spirit everytime I catch a glance at these plates in my China hutch! They always make me smile!"

"I have wanted this set of dinnerware since I was an adult. I splurged for Christmas this year and have not been disappointed. The quality of the dinnerware is excellent. I also purchased the Spode Christmas Tree pie plate with pie bird. The pie plate is very decorative and beautiful - it is a deep 9-inch pie plate and has a bird which can nest inside the pie so that the crust does not burn. Since there are so many accompanying pieces, my family will never be short on gift ideas for several years to come."

"This china is beautiful and makes for a beautiful table setting at Christmas. The new pieces they introduce each year make wonderful gifts for the collector. "Spode "Christmas Tree" Dinnerware is beautiful, but it has a flaw in that the green rim tends to craze and crack after repeated use. Parts of the green rim will just flake off. Years ago, I would take it back to the store for replacement, but have long since given that up. It is so festive at Christmas!"
