"When
I first looked at this little beauty, I was skeptical that it would be
powerful enough to handle large cooking jobs. Needless to say, I was
wrong. The chopping container easily holds a whole stalk of chopped
celery, or 2 large chopped onions. As always, you can trust Cuisinart
to have a solid, smooth running motor that chops through anything. Chop
a whole pepper with just a couple pulses. There are plently attachments
that will handle slicing, shredding or chopping. It really takes the
work out of veggie intense cooking.
And don't dismiss the value of having a processor small enough to keep
on the counter or even to stash in the cabinet. This is an excellent
food processor!"

"This food processor is small and easy to store. I shred large batches of cheese at a time. The chute is great, although the cheese does stick to the shredding compartment sometimes. The motor and blade are the most durable I have ever bought. I use this food processor 2-3 times a week. It all washes well in the dishwasher. (Better and easier than hand washing.)"

"This is my second small Cuisinart DFP-3 Food Processor, 3 cup. Originally, when my husband and I purchased a new motor home, we received one as a gift since we both love to cook. That was 18 years ago! After 18 years of continual use, Macy's was having a sale and I decided to splurge and purchase another one, even though the old one still worked fine. This is the best little food processor out there. I would not be without it. I make all kinds of things in our tiny motor home kitchen, and can pack it in a drawer for traveling. It slices, dices, grades cheese, and mixes all kinds of goodies perfectly. I even use it to make fresh frozen banana ice cream, which I could not do without this Cuisinart. It is a valuable tool in my traveling lifestyle and would highly recommend it to anyone who has little space but wants the latest and greatest kitchen tool!"

"Even though this is a good product and works fine it was not for me. I find there are too many items to wash once you are done using it and the discs are sharp and cumbersome to clean. Especially the tube feeder after grating cheese and this was the main reason I purchased the cuisinart. I also do not like the fact that you have to feed items into a presized tube. I think food processors are just not refined enough and I end up doing the chopping manually since the timeframe ends up the same or less when you factor in washing the appliance after you are done."

"I kept putting off buying a cuisinart because of the price...this one finally went on sale for a price I couldn't refuse so I figured I'd try it. I LOVE this product. I don't know how I lived without it! It's small size makes it easy to chop onions or shred cheese for small meals without making a huge mess or crying! It's so much faster than doing it by hand and the clean up is the same. I will now be buying a bigger version for the "bigger duties"."

"I was also skeptical when I purchased this inexpensive, small processor instead of the large Cuisinart. However, I have now owned it for 3 years and it is still working like new. It has proved to be the perfect size for making sauces, hummus and other dips which I use it for almost every day and small enough that I can easily put it in a cupboard or that it doesn't take up my entire counter. I would definitely recommend this Cuisinart Processor!"
