The watch is beautiful, and felt solid. I loved it. But I noticed that the power save mode would kick in every few minutes, and the seconds needle would stop moving even when fully exposed to light. The watch kept time correctly, but it was not pleasant to look at a still seconds and.
I took it to the nearby Macy's store, they promptly replaced it with another model of my choice.
I hope I have better luck with that one.

Full marks to Macy's, not so much to Citizen."

"I bought this gift for my husband for our first anniversary and his birthday. He absolutely love this watch!! he is not the kind of person who says "oh, I like that. Oh wait, that one too". No, It took me ages to find a watch that has roman numeral in it that looks elegant ( a watch where you can match with anything wether for work or casual days as well) That is what he really like. And i am so glad i found this watch. Just what my husband really wanted. And a plus of this watch is that it doesnt need any battery . This watch is totally worth it. :) I definitely recommend this product to anyone.."

"I've had this watch for almost 5 years now. It is still running great and have never had to replace the battery, given the fact that it runs on sunlight. It's very durable and has only a few minor scratches from the general wear and tear that I've put it through. Given the reasonable price and the durability of the piece, I definitely recommend this as a purchase."

"I purchased this watch for my fiancee as my wedding gift to him. We got married two weeks ago and my husband absolutely loves it. I originally started reviewing this watch because I have a citizen ecodrive that I purchased three years ago and have really enjoyed it. The nice thing about this watch is that it is dressy enough to wear to work but still looks great with casual clothes. It has lots of gadgets and is very easy to program. The one thing that my husband mentioned was that when he set the alarm on the watch that it is not very loud. It must just be a reminder alarm tone and not one loud enough to wake you up. I highly recommend this watch to everyone."

"First, I have to say, although this is a Men's watch, I purchased it for myself (and I am a woman). I think it is unisex really. I LOVE this watch. I seriously can't say enough about how much I love it. I have previously owned lighter smaller watches, but they never lasted to long and seemed to suck away batteries. Now that I am a mother of 2, I need durability and ease of use and this watch fits the bill. While this watch helps me keep track of the day, the date, the time and many other features, it does so while still being attractive (something you often have to sacrifice when seeking out durability). I spent a bit more than I usually would have, but since I'm not buying a battery every few months it is totally worth it! Get yours today!"

"I purchased this watch for my husband for his birthday. He had had a similar watch several years ago however, he lost it in Hurricane Katrina. When he opened his birthday present and saw the watch he was so thankful that I had given it to him. He read the production information booklet and immediately set all the functions on the watch. Now he doesn't need to look at his cell phone for the time and date."

"I've had this watch for 3 years and love it. It has the day, date, month, and year on it as well as 2 time zones and an alarm. The only thing I've had to change on it is time for Daylight Savings Time, twice a year. It is easy to set, once you read the instructions. Time is easy to set if you forgot them. So is the alarm. The only complaint I have is that the Blue Dial is a Dark almost Black in color. It is not the lighter Blue that you see in the picture. I wish it was. I also wish there was a light in the dial to light up the watch in the dark. Maybe future Citizens will have these features.
You never have to change batteries. This is GREAT! I usuallly break a watch that I have to change batteries in.
Discounted price of this watch is about the same wherever you go. If you need to know the day, date, month and time with no hassels, this is the watch for you.
