"Just awesome! You never have to fire up your broiler again or use a frying pan! Cooks both sides of a steak or chicken breast at the same time and yet the meat stays moist and tender! I was able to get rid of my heavy bulky iron griddle, which freed up space in my cupboard - always a plus! And, the plates are easy to change and even easier to clean. This unit is the perfect size and fits in my tiny, "no counter space" kitchen very nicely! Makes a great gift - I bought one for my sister as well. Highly recommend this product!"

"We have had the Cuisinart GR-4 Griddler for a few years now and have been able to use it for almost anything. From simple grilled cheese sandwiches to Mexican Crunchwraps and Quesadillas. It has been used mainly for quick meals, since we are always on the go. Hash browns, hamburgers, grilled chicken, steaks and almost anything else we can think of since it doesn't use a lot of electricity. We rarely use our oven and stove since we got the griddler. Cleanup is a snap, just cool and remove the grill, replace it with the other grill and store, while we clean the used one. Now we have more time to relax instead of toiling in the kitchen preparing the family meal."

"I have ben using the GR-4 Griddler for about 6 weeks now. I am very pleased with the results and have had no problems. The grill plates go on and come off very easily. I love this feature! The temperature ranges are accurate. So far, I have made panini, grilled salmon steaks, and quesadilla with excellent results. I have also made pancakes--they came out great! I have found that for most things I am making I need no oil on the grill/griddle plates, and I only needed a smidge of butter for the ousides of the panini."

"Our youngest son is off to college and is setting up his first apartment. We bought this for his kitchen and it is the best grill we have ever purchased. It is easy to use and clean up is simple. With the choices of cooking surfaces it is very versitle and limits the number of additonal pots and pans he needed. With this product my son has not been tempted to buy fast fast food and I am assured he is eating healthy meals. Everything he has cooked is delicious from pancakes to steak. If a grill is on your list this is the one to buy as it will pay for itself in the long run."

"I hate when you buy kitchen appliances and you hardly ever use them (like the blender) or they get stuck in a cabinet and used once every couple years (like the crock pot)....but this little grill, this is the exception. It is wonderful and I use it three times a week. I have had it for a year and a half and it still works perfectly. I turn one knob, wait 5 mins, throw some seasoned chicken on there and close the lid. Ten minutes later you have perfect mouth watering moist grilled chicken! After dinner I toss the removable plates in the sink, give them a rub down with a soapy sponge and rinse. Very easy to use, easy clean up, versatile and definitely worth every penny."

"From the moment I saw this product advertised on TV, I put it on my Macys.com wish list for future purchase. I was lucky enough to get it on sale and had gift cards to use, so I really got a good deal. The first week of having the grill, I made hamburgers, rib eye steaks, salmon, eggs, bacon and pancakes, all with great ease. I have never owned a competitively-styled grill or panini-maker, but my friends who do say that they are going to get the Griddler instead. The interchangable plates have to be the best feature, especially for easy cleanup. I also love that it opens flat and has twice the cooking surface of other competitive products. The package also includes a handy cleaning tool and two drip cups for grease, which also adds to easy cleanup. My favorite thing to cook on my Griddler is bacon - it comes out perfect EVERY time - but then again so does everything else I've cooked on my Griddler!"

"We have used this grill only a few times and are very pleased with the results. It performs just as described in the reviews on this site. "I bought this product to replace another electric grill that was just too difficult to clean. This one has been a breeze - cooks evenly and quickly and I love the sear setting for grilling steaks. One of my favorite things is the little scraper with teeth perfectly spaced to get in between the raised grill spaces - no more sore arm from scrubbing! All in all fantastic - would highly recommend this."

"We got this as a wedding present. It was great for our first apartment where we could not have an outdoor barbecue. Now we have a house and a outdoor grill. I still use this almost every day. "I got this all in 1 for my bday. Several days later I made grilled chicken with it. It cooked the chicken so perfectly. The chicken was tender and juicy and cooked to perfection. I also used the griddler. I made french toast and it came out wonderfully. Just make sure that when making these 2 items you put the settings on high so that you get a nice color on the food. This is my favorite kitchen appliance hands down"

"This Griddler was a gift I gave to someone. We have jointly used this for everything from paninis to grilled pound cake and it is simply wonderful. The snap out grill plates are really nice touches.
This identical model is also branded by a food network at another store and it sells for more than this one does at Macys on sale. There are plenty of imitations out there but I suggest you spend your money wisely by purchasing the best you can get with this Cuisinart model griddler.
