"Just awesome! You never have to fire up your broiler again or use a frying pan! Cooks both sides of a steak or chicken breast at the same time and yet the meat stays moist and tender! I was able to get rid of my heavy bulky iron griddle, which freed up space in my cupboard - always a plus! And, the plates are easy to change and even easier to clean. This unit is the perfect size and fits in my tiny, "no counter space" kitchen very nicely! Makes a great gift - I bought one for my sister as well. Highly recommend this product!"

"We used it for the first time today and it was so easy to use and easy to clean afterwards. I made burgers and used it to grill the patties first, then toasted the buns. Came out perfect. It cooked in 10 minutes both ways (no flipping :) ) and was juicy and yummy. There is also a warm setting! It also isn't huge and bulky, it fit perfectly on my counter top. We live in a studio apartment so this is a big plus.

"Hello, I purchased the Cuisinart Griddler a little over a month ago. I was very excited because it had excellent reviews, once I received the Grill I started using it; it worked great and I made delicious meals, however a three weeks later from purchase the pieces that hold the top plate together (not sureof its name, but they look like buttons that release the top plate) well, it came apart, I looks like they overheated, which is ironic because this is a grill that's supposed to be hot when on. I am very dissapointed of this purchase, I would have never expect to purchase a product that will be defective so soon."

"I am really not impressed with this. It doesn't sear or brown meat well. It's pretty heavy and clunky too. It works well on vegetables, but that's about it. i always have it on the highest heat setting too. I was disappointed because I love grilling food, and this just doesn't do it well."

"Not such a great griddle for pancakes though. Even on the highest setting, the flat griddle just doesn't get hot enough. If you are looking for golden brown pancakes...look to purchase a different griddle. Honestly, my stove top griddle is much better. However, for grilling it is great. Steaks, chicken, burgers, veggies...all cook perfectly and clean up is a breeze."

"I love my counter top griddler. It offers the option of a small or large cooking surface by allowing the grill to be opened up completely exposing both cooking plates. Also has reversible plates, smooth on one side and grooved on the other. It has a "drain" in the back that catches fat and juices that my otherwise build up on the plate while cooking. Easy to clean and the plates are dishwasher safe. Love it!!!"

"I love my griddler: it is easy to use, easy to clean, and so versatile. I can make pancake quickly, grill a panini, or do chicken/steak if the weather is bad. Then, just through the griddler plates in the dishwasher and you're done cleaning up."

"Although the heating elements are very good, there is a design flaw in the griddle/grill plates. They are very shallow and grease almost always drips over them and makes a mess on the countertop. Also, the grease-catcher is in an awkward position to put in or take out. I would not buy this again."

"am a lady who cook daily for my family so i spent most of my free time in the kitchen. at first i didn't want to buy it thinking why i need it for butone day i don't have time to lite the coal to do barbeque specially i do a little bid bcs for me and my husband. so i decided to get one and oh my God i love it. it save time and electricity and the food taste good so now i use it almost daily with everything for barbeque, hamburger, steak, panini anything i want instead of using my oven. i'll never regret that i bought it worth the money"

"My whole family loves this appliance. We see no need to buy a panini from a restaurant now. I made hamburgers for dinner tonight. I've made chicken breasts and obviously paninis for dinner and breakfast. They turn out great in no time. I also liked that it came with a small recipe book. One negative is the outside gets really hot."
