Stainless Convert,December 13, 2006
By navybluefrom Colorado
"I've always used non-stick cookware and decided to try stainless when this piece was on sale. I'll never use non-stick cookware again. Don't believe the claim that stainless is hard to work with, or that you can't cook meat or fry eggs in it without burning them. This Cuisinart pan performs exactly like quality stainless should - even heat, nice browning, easy to maintain. Excellent product and great sale price."

Very good, all-purpose pan!,January 19, 2010
By KSandCOfrom Kansas
"This was purchased for a family member in our Christmas drawing. The sale price was our price limit. The recipient was thrilled with the pan. She loves it and still can't believe we didn't go over the limit! I also own this pan, so I knew how good it was. Very good value - especially on sale!!"

Inspired to cook more often...,March 4, 2009
By MMootoofrom Elmont, NY
"For the past year I have been complaining about how bad the pots I used looked and found myself cooking less often...so I went in search of cookware that would hopefully inspire me to cook more. I looked in many stores and finally decided to take a look at what Macy's had to offer. I wanted to find a product that was classy enough to leave on the stove top yet gave me that feeling of "I can't wait to cook something." I found the Cuisinart Stainless Saute Pan. This is a classy piece...after washing it, the luster comes back;the glass polish finish never dulls, food doesn't stick to it;a misconception many food preparers have about pots that aren't tephlon. Heat is actually evenly distributed, the pan nor the lid handle get hot. The food comes out perfect every time I have used it. I wanted to test the product out first...I am completely satisfied. I'm returning to Macy's in the next few days to purchase he whole set and also to thank the sales associate that recommended it. Hope I can find him...I told him would come and thank him if I absolutely loved it. and I do! I have been inspired to cook more often..."

Cuisinart cookware is FAR SUPERIOR TO THE REST !,February 21, 2009
By Luvtoshopalotfrom Wine Country, CA
"I have been using the same set of Stainless Steel Cuisinart cookware for about ten years and would not trade it for any other brand. It offers even cooking of all types of food, it heats quickly and evenly with no "hot spots". Sometimes the handles do not stay cool to the touch -- especially if you are cooking on a crowded stove top. I need to use protection against burning from the handles if the pot has been in use for longer than 10 - 15 minutes. However, since it does conduct heat so well and clean up is always so easy -- this is not a major issue. I do not like nonstick cookware because I have read too many conflicting things about it and do not want to worry about scratching it. Cuisinart is worth the investment. I have donated all of my other pots and pans to charity. Cuisinart is the last set of pots I will need to buy."

I LOVE this pan!,January 19, 2009
By cookergirlfrom Virginia Beach, VA
"I absolutely love this pan - it heats evenly, it is a great size, and it cleans up really well AS LONG AS I either clean it or put water in it to soak as soon as I'm done with it. I have traded all of my nonstick pans for Cuisinart stainless - they perform better and I don't have to worry about any potential toxins if the finish scratches. I can't believe I've lived this long without it."

Very glad to have this product but,August 9, 2008
By Catloverrfrom baltimore, md
"I guess since this is my first stainless steel pan, then perhaps I'm just misinformed. But tonight I used it for the first time, frying breaded eggplant for eggplant parmigiana. It was only a 1/4 inch of oil, and an hours worth of frying batches of eggplant. I didn't soak the pan "immediately" but soon enough, as in 30-45 minutes after turning the heat off under the pan. I did not scour the pan, since you're not supposed to. Once the pan was thoroughly washed and dried, I noticed a couple things. The inside bottom was a few different colors, but the user guide says that's due to calcium in your water, and warm vinegar should clear that up, which I've read in other product reviews. Also, there was (only in a few spots) residue or stuck on stuff, that I couldn't get off for the life of me. I even soaked the pan a second time with hot dish water. The user guide does also say you can boil an inch of dishwater in the pan and try cleaning again. It also says to try a stainless steel cleaning product/polish. I know this is a well-known brand and I still have trust in it, I guess I'm just discouraged and need to know others have had the same problem(s) and that I'm not the only one with this same pan."

great, relatively inexpensive pan,January 25, 2008
By citygirl82from Midwest
"My husband and I purchased this pan on sale and have owned it for about 4 months now and really love it. All our other pans ar the pricier Calphalon stainless steel (which we love as well), and this performs just as well as the rest of our cookware. We absolutely love stainless steel and when it gets any residue on it (which does happen with stainless steel) we just use the product Bar Keeper's Friend (can buy at Williams Sonoma) and everything comes out looking brand new. With our stainless steel cookware and our one cast-iron pan (a MUST have) we are all set in the kitchen."
