"Flat sheets and pillowcases in this collection are smaller than measurements on the package. Also shrink, even when washed on gentle cycle and dried on low heat. Starts out soft and comfortable, but stiffens as gets older. Creases at hem can't be ironed out, so doesn't lay flat.

Sheets this expensive should be true to size, resist shrinking and creasing, and remain soft and comfortable for more than a year."

"And 600 TC is more than 3x better than 200 TC!! Don't know why, but it is.

Great sheets. I am a fanatic about my bed and cannot believe that I have waited so long to splurge on high end sheets. These sheets are lovely. Buy them on sale so you don't have to mortgage your house to afford them. They are worth the extra cash. After all, approximately 1/3 of your day is in bed. Enjoy. :)"

"I bought queen oversize sheets, not realizing the flat sheet was so huge! The bottom fitted sheet is very nice, but I had to reorder a regular size queen flat...and we all know these sheets ain't cheap! Overall, the quality is great...just wish I could return the oversize sheet I can't use. Macy's..how about it?"

"and i am =)) i am so picky about tc, color fade, seam finishing, garment construction, etc. because my gramma taught me these things. then my son, who is a big ole teddy bear at 18y, and a card holder of the touch-sensitive world of autism...needed his sheets replaced. he would never sleep b/t the fitted and top sheets, only on top of the comforter. i have always been impressed with *the hotel collection*. to me? it is a consistently high-quality line of merchandise. now he is sleeping b/t a pure and fluffy white sheet set and he loves them! they are soft enough for a baby! as always, i washed all in a presoak with just a vinegar splash, and softener liquid. perfection! macy's rocks!"
