"This waffle iron really delivers. It is the grand master of waffle irons--truly as the name states--pro. It is fairly smiple to use: spray oil on, pour in batter, close and flip it over. It beeps when it is done. It comes with great recipies, but if you get some of those fancy waffle mixes that are out there--it does an amazing job with these things. Everything turns out perfect--crisp, delicious and pipping hot! Yum! Yum! Yum!"

"Bought this waffle maker back in February of '09. I got to use 5 or 6 times. Was diligent about maintenance each time I used it. Took it out the other day, March 7,2010 and lo and behold it doesn't work. Warranty has expired, forget about the store warranty that's over and done with. So what I am left with is a pile of metal & plastic. Definitely would not recommend this product to anyone."

"I own 2 waffle makers this one and a Kitchen Aid, this one I use at my home in Korea. Worked great for about 14 mths (I was in Iraq for 6 of the mths) made great waffles, as good if not better then my Kichen Aid. Then the element just stoped working. Wonderful product when working, burns out way to quick. Will replace it with a Kitchen Aid for a lot more money. But my KA has been in the family for years."

"This is supposed to be restaurant quality, but after a little more than a year, the screws came loose at the connection of the plates. My husband put in longer screws and it held up a little longer but now is coming apart again. Takes up a lot of room on the counter top too. It does make excellent waffles though. I am going to keep using it until it completely falls apart and then I will buy a new waffle iron-- not this one though!"

"I have looked for years for a professional style waffle maker like this one. I love this waffle maker, I have invited family over to enjoy breakfast and every waffle comes out perfect. I have had this waffle maker for 3 years and it is still going strong. My friend has another waffle maker that flips like this one and it pops out of the hinges and doesn't fully cook the waffles like this one does. I gave it four stars because it is hard to clean. I would recommend this to anyone who loves big fat waffles."

"We went travelling one day and on the small hotel that we stayed in, we saw this product at the breakfast area. We used it (they provided the waffle mix in a small plastic cup) and we fell in love right away. The waffle tasted as good as the expensive belgian waffle we occasionally buy from a waffle place near our condo. So we immediately bought it when we got home. Have been using it regularly since. "I love this waffle maker! One thing you need is the counter space. You will use it more if you have an area that you can leave it out. It's stylish so I think it looks great in the kitchen. It shows you like quality.
I use Carbon's Golden Malted Pancake and Waffle Mix and it honestly tastes like it's from a restaurant. Just be sure not to overfill the waffle maker with batter because it will spurt out. One nice feature is the stainless steel catch pan that sits below it. I have had a few overfills and the pan makes clean up much easier.
I would recommend this product and will buy it for gifts in the future."

"I received this as a gift after my grandmother heard my husband and I reminiscing about Belgian waffles we used to have in college.
At first it seemed like an unnecessary gift - but after making delicious waffles for ourselves, family and friends it has definitely been worth it!
I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a treat! The waffles are delicious and fast. I've never burned any! The only two bad things I can say is that the waffles get cold quickly - so eat them right off the iron! And it can get a little difficult to clean because the plates are not removable.
We've given one to two other couples as shower gifts!"

"I looked at and considered many different types of waffle irons. I saw this at Macy's and waited for it to go on sale. Even after it was on sale I waited and considered whether or not this was a worthwhile purchase. Well the next time I looked at them there was only ONE left. It was mine!
